A Long Island native, relocated to Western NY, I am somewhat eccentric. I volunteer for, foster with, and adopt from Small Pets-Big Hearts, Inc., a small animal rescue in Cheektowaga, NY. I love most animals and truly believe that no creature is too small or too strange to deserve love. I have personally rescued 6 rats and have fostered 7 African Soft Furred Rats (NOT FOR BEGINNERS!) and 5 Dwarf Hamsters. I have helped with the adoption of several rats, hamsters, and guinea pigs.
